Rice Protein Supplier to Europe
Prodigy Foods supplies feed-grade rice protein (rice gluten meal) with 70% and above protein from India to feed and pet food manufacturers in Europe. We ship in 50 kg PP bags or in bulk from Mundra and Nhava Sheva (JNPT), and quote CIF to European ports on request.
Why European buyers source rice protein from India
- A plant protein that is not soy: rice protein gives formulators a second high-protein vegetable source for feed and pet food recipes.
- High protein density: 70% and above protein, close to fishmeal and above soybean meal, so less inclusion is needed per tonne of feed.
- Large and steady origin: India is one of the world’s largest rice processors, so rice protein from the starch and glucose industry is available year-round.
- Tested to EU limits: our aflatoxin specification of below 20 ppb matches the EU maximum for aflatoxin B1 in feed materials (0.02 mg/kg).
